What is true about this clinic
What we do
Seven kinds of care, under one roof
Most of what a family needs is here, so you are not sent across the city for the next step. If something genuinely needs a specialist we do not have, we say so and help you arrange it.

Checkups, cleanings, gum care and the everyday work that keeps teeth healthy.
What this involves
Fillings and Root Canals
Repairing a decayed or damaged tooth, and treating a tooth when decay reaches the nerve.
What this involves
Crowns, Bridges and Implants
Rebuilding a badly damaged tooth, and replacing teeth that are missing.
What this involves
Surgical Dentistry
Extractions, wisdom teeth, implant placement and gum grafting.
What this involves
Orthodontics
Braces, clear aligners and expanders for children, teenagers and adults.
What this involves
Cosmetic Dentistry
Whitening, bonding and veneers, to change how a healthy tooth looks.
What this involves
Emergency Dental Care
Same day help for dental pain, swelling, bleeding and broken teeth.

How a visit goes
Nothing happens until you have said yes
People arrive worried about two things: what is wrong, and what it is going to cost. So we deal with both before any treatment starts, in that order.
You arrive
Check in at the front desk and fill in a short health history. Tell us then if you are nervous, or if you need more time.
We listen first
You tell us what brought you in, in your own words. We look, and we take an image only when there is a reason for one.
We explain the options
You get the choices in plain language, including doing nothing for now if that is reasonable, and what each option costs, in writing.
You decide
You can take the plan home and think about it. Treatment starts when you are ready, not on the day you first walked in.
Insurance and programs
The programs we accept, named
Bring your card or your program letter. The front desk checks what you are covered for before treatment starts, and tells you plainly if something is not covered.
A federal plan for residents without private dental insurance who meet the income and residency rules set by the Government of Canada. Enrolment is handled by the federal government, not by the clinic.
A provincial program for children and young people aged 17 and under in households that meet the program rules. It is run by the Government of Ontario through local public health units.
Ontario Works includes dental coverage for people receiving assistance, and in many cases for their dependants. Your caseworker confirms what your file includes.
Dental coverage for adults on the program and for eligible family members. Some treatments need approval from the program before they can begin.
Limited, mostly urgent dental care for refugee claimants, resettled refugees and certain other groups, for as long as the coverage is active.
We accept private insurance from all providers, and we direct bill where your plan allows it. We do not quote coverage percentages and we do not predict whether a claim will be approved. Those decisions belong to your insurer or your program. How each program works
If you are in pain right now
During our hours, call the clinic. We keep same-day slots for urgent problems. Call the clinic and the front desk will tell you what time we can see you.
Outside our hours, leave a message with your name, your number and what is happening, and we call you back when we open. Severe facial swelling that affects your breathing or your swallowing, or bleeding that will not stop, means calling 911 or going to the nearest emergency department.
Call (416) 744-6323We are not a twenty four hour clinic. Our hours are on the contact page.

Open seven days a week. Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Sunday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Hours can change on Ontario statutory holidays. Call ahead if you are not sure.
Which government programs do you accept?
These five, and we also accept private insurance from all providers.
Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)Healthy Smiles Ontario (HSO)Ontario Works (OW)Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP)Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP)
Do you direct bill my insurance?
Bring your policy details to your first visit and the front desk will set up direct billing if your plan permits it. Some plans do not allow it, in which case you pay the clinic and claim the amount back yourself.
Can I be seen today if I am in pain?
Often yes. We keep same-day slots for urgent problems. Call the clinic and the front desk will tell you what time we can see you.
Call rather than booking online when it is urgent, so we can fit you in properly.
I am nervous about the dentist. What can you do?
Say so when you book, and again when you sit down. We can allow more time, explain each step before we do it, or agree a hand signal that stops us.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Your health card, your insurance or program card, a list of your medications, and the questions you want to ask. For a child, bring the parent or guardian who can consent to treatment.
Come and see us
We see patients from North York, Etobicoke, Brampton, Vaughan and Mississauga. Book online in a couple of minutes, or call the front desk and a person will sort it out with you.
